Fork, Knife, Spoon: Cunningham's Beach, Bar Harbor, Maine; February 20, 2011 (Beachcombing series No.2)

February is a grey month here in Maine so when the sun finally peeked out from behind the clouds I headed right down to my favorite collecting beach to enjoy the rays while they lasted. By the time I got there it was overcast again and the wind had started to pick up. When it started to snow, I moved under the pier.

Top to bottom, left to right: metal fork, driftwood riddled with shipworm holes, bird breast bone?, beach stone, driftwood, rusted metal ring, plastic knife handle, fiberglass shard, metal spring (possibly from a retractable pen), random plastic thing, bird leg bone, fragment of china, plastic scrap, sea glass, metal wheel, driftwood, Rockweed (Ascophyllum nodosum), stoneware mug handle, sea glass, metal spoon, guitar pick, toothbrush, soda can tab, oyster shell, beach stone.
